“OFFICINE MECCANICHE SCOTTI ALDO & MARIO s.d.f.”

is founded.
Mario and Aldo’s insight leads to the production of a new live center almost unheard of in Italian’s mechanical market: the legendary “AM series tailstock”.

1960

70s

After moments of struggle and sacrifice, the company commits itself to its growth presenting the metalworking Italian market new equipment for machine tools.
Thanks to the work of agents all over the country, the company keeps having success.

The production of manual indexing heads for milling centers is introduced: Indexing Scotti – Model DUS 140 is the first of a wide range

1974

1976

One of the two partners suddenly dies and Mario has to manage the company by himself.

New years of mechanical and electronical renovations begin. More qualified personnel is hired.

80s

1980

Enza, Mario’s first daughter, joins the company.

MECCANICA SCOTTI srl

is now founded.

1984

1987

Davide, the second son, joins Enza in leading the Meccanica Scotti.

To increase the production, the company decides to buy its first CNC lathe and horizontal/vertical machining center.

1988

90s

The design and production of CNC tables 4th axis for machining center begins in these years and it still continues to our days.

Meccanica Scotti wants to keep up with times and start to design and build new offices.

1996

1997

The company obtains UNI EN ISO 9001 certification: the transformation from manual work to industrial’s is accomplished.
Assistance service, quality control, Research & Development are the new departments. The new goal is the creation of a company based on design, high quality and exceptional precision.

New investments: high qualified staff, new technical office, new machine tools and new quality tests with Zeiss machines.

2000s

2005

The growing market leads the Meccanica Scotti to cooperate with European mechanical industry

First Asian commercial agents in China and Taiwan.

To increase its range of CNC tables, Meccanica Scotti decides to acquire the Italian leader business in hirth rings, TABONI MECCANICA.

2011

2013/14

Thanks to the cooperation between Italian, German and Taiwanese manufacturers the new tables series TWIN 4th / 5th axis are now placed on the market.
The new aim is to install the tables as integral part of the 5th axis machines.

ITTC – Italian Tools Technology Company: Meccanica Scotti, Polledri, Poliangolar and GFB Group start to work together as a “network”; the main goal is to expand foreign market thanks to a group of 80 people, 7 engineers and almost 4000 clients.

2016

Development of the newest 4th / 5th axis tables with torque motors for turning and milling at the same time.
